The events of these past 16 months have tested our patience, resilience and faith.
The effects of the pandemic brought out the best in many and the worst in many.
Many rose to the occasion and achieved their personal best to make a challenging period of time more rewarding and beneficial for themselves and others while many contributed to the angst, frustration and negative newness of it all.
Family and friends suffered losses – of businesses, livelihoods, health and most of all loved ones. We as a collective suffered more deaths as a result of this pandemic than deaths during World War II.
As we approach Memorial Day, “the day of honoring and mourning the military personnel who have died in the performance of their military duties while serving in the U.S. Armed Forces,” I believe it is also fitting to honor those who have lost their lives during the pandemic. I am not alone in my beliefs.
While we were experiencing an unprecedented rate of death in the early months of the COVID-19 pandemic (2400 deaths per day) those in the spirit realm were doing their best to keep up with the unprecedented souls being received on a daily basis.
The spirit realm communicates with me in an on-going fashion. At the end of March, 2020
I was reminded of how essential their work was. This is an excerpt of their message:
We are receiving souls in droves.
Many of us have never experienced anything like this.
This influx of your loved ones in spirit is different on many levels.
These souls, our comrades, are crossing over without ever having the opportunity to say goodbye.
They are crossing over without having had a ‘proper’ send-off.
They are confused, saddened, and needing to make connection.
For those who have joined us in the ranks, we will continue to do what we do best…
Reaching out, knocking on doors and asking to be let in.
Here we are 14 months after I received their message. I believe it is fitting to honor them all, living and deceased. We are all in this together and we all take a collective sigh of relief.
