Are you aware of the fact that We, the People, are in the midst of a revolution and your participation is needed? Can you feel the electrified energy calling you forth?
Opinions and thoughts swirling around us are so plentiful it is difficult to maintain a sense of balance, let alone a sense of humor, or decorum.
What do you do in the midst of strife, differences of opinion and the perceived dismantling of our ‘norms’? How do you maintain balance, keep yourself in ‘check’ and find levity in the moment, while simultaneously expressing your opinions and speaking up for yourself, if you are, in fact, self-expressing on a daily basis?
Kudos to those of you who do speak your mind and choose not to ‘hold things in’. It is a clear indication that you place your health above all else, plus it just feels good. By health I mean mental, physical and emotional.
However, if you are not speaking your mind or engaging with the world around you, you may benefit from a few pointers to help jump start the process.
Are you feeling:
- I have nothing worthwhile to contribute to a conversation?
- What I think about a given situation doesn’t carry much weight, so why bother?
- I’ve never shared my thoughts, why would someone listen to me now?
- I’m mad as hell, yet speaking out wouldn’t make a difference, let alone change anything?
- Someone else might the say the exact same thing, and better than I would be able to?
You may want to think again.
Please know:
- You are a valuable member of our society.
- You have life experiences and thoughts others may need to hear and learn from.
- Your shared opinion is necessary in order to bring balance to the ‘conversation’.
- Your health depends upon you releasing those otherwise stuffed feelings and emotions, which become toxic, when repressed.
Trust your gut.
Open your mouth.
Speak your mind.
By doing so from a place of love you will express thyself from your highest nature and change your little corner of the world, one word at a time.
