What if everything you were led to believe about the definition of success amounted to a hill of beans?
What if everything you put your heart and soul into in an effort to achieve that pinnacle of success was all for naught?
What if you invested years and maybe even decades of your time climbing to the top of the mountain only to realize it left you feeling flat, uninspired and unfulfilled?
Would you rethink your plan – or do anything differently?
What if I were to offer you the secrets to fulfilling lasting success – the type of success you can not only revel in, but share with others for eons to come – would you be open to receive this pot of gold? Would you be willing to invest your time and energy to achieve deep, rich, sustaining success?
You may be skeptical and I get it. We are living in a space and time when “now” is not soon enough and “more” is simply not enough.
“In the U.S., people are hard to satisfy and they’re constantly wanting things bigger and better. A recent study by credit card company Discover, which surveyed more than 1,000 Americans across the country, uncovered the top things that people believe indicate financial success. It turns out, the “American Dream” today means owning a fancy car, having a housekeeper and taking luxury vacations.” *
If this is your philosophy, you are not alone. But living on this sort of hamster wheel can keep you spinning.
I am here to, hopefully, uncomplicate your life and share straightforward secrets and stories to simplify your life. Who does not want that?
For example; in the pursuit of success many lose sight of happiness. They place happiness on the back burner and assure themselves that “when I have ‘this’, I will be happy”. Happiness itself can even tap dance in front of you – yet you choose to sidestep it.
“By many accounts, Americans are living in contentious times. Yet they report being happier in 2017 than they were in 2016, according the 2017 Harris Poll Survey of American Happiness, shared exclusively with TIME.
That’s not to say that Americans are especially happy overall; only 33% of Americans surveyed said they were happy. In 2016, just 31% of Americans reported the same.”**
It is good news that the percentage of Americans who say they are happy is on the uptick, but imagine what life would be like if closer to 100% of Americans were happy. Then imagine if you were to adopt a new philosophy and rephrase “when I have this, I will be happy” to “because I am happy, I have it all”. Pause for a moment and allow yourself to feel that. It is quite powerful.
Happiness is a state of mind, it is the quality or state of being happy and it is characterized by, or indicative of pleasure, contentment or joy. I believe it would be safe to say if you choose to live your life from a place of pleasure, contentment and joy you will attract much more of the same. Would you consider that a success?
The secrets, or lessons, as I refer to them within my book, The Spirits Speak on Success, will open your eyes, fill your heart and provide a different perspective. What we, in the “here and now” quantify as success, appears to be more materialistic and “out there”.
What my contributing writers in spirit share about their secrets or definitions of success are simple, straightforward and reside within each of us.
We do take ourselves with us wherever we go. Why not achieve the true essence of success in the “here and now” so you can avoid living in regret in the afterlife? It is never too late.
