Heart of My Heart
Just because the love of your life transitioned into spirit does not mean you cannot spend some time together on Valentine’s Day. As a matter of fact, if you listen closely, pay attention to the details, and notice the signs, chances are you will realize your loved one is reaching out to you, attempting to make a date. Yes, a date. A date with you.
Oftentimes our ancestors and loved ones in spirit go above and beyond in an attempt to get your attention. Usually they do so because they have news to share, advice to impart, questions to ask and love to give. Oftentimes you are not receptive or otherwise engaged and you miss the messages, cannot hear the knock on the door, or wouldn’t know it if you heard it. ‘It’ being connecting with those in spirit. This ‘connection’ thing is all new to you – I understand.
I do however; find it remarkable how ‘they’ reach out to point you in the direction of connection. For example, someone pointed you in the direction of this newspaper – this article – me. There are no coincidences. You were drawn to pick up a copy and open to this page. You needed a gentle kick in the butt, a reassurance, a signal, or a sign to let you know that you are missed. You may even find yourself wondering how I know that – how they know that.
I am here to tell you it is not that complicated. They simply know and they impart their knowledge to me. They connected you to me, so I can connect you with them. If you have made it this far, we need to talk!
Valentine’s Day and every day, as far as I’m concerned, is the ideal day to reach out and touch the heart of another, especially your loved ones in spirit. Heart of my heart, love of my life, your mother, your daughter, your husband, or wife. The heart is the most powerful of connectors, so exercise your power now. Reach out and reconnect with your loved one, spend some time in connection; rekindle, reminiscence, relax into love. After all, the heart wants what the heart wants – why deprive yourself?
