‘Who’s teaching whom?’ That is the question of this month.
As we prepare to return to school and step into the spirit of academia once again, I wonder if it has ever crossed your mind as to who is teaching whom? I’m referring, specifically, to schooling with spirit.
I love schooling with spirit and am pleased to report I learn something new from the spirit realm each and every day. For example, I have learned they communicate via the language of love and their perception of the world of ‘matter and form’. The world they left behind in the physical sense is very different from when they took up occupancy. There are no barriers or time constraints.
When I counsel with energy from the spirit realm I must raise my energetic vibration and meet them where they are (which is usually at a lower vibration than ‘normal’ for them). I do not profess to know the exact details of how they make this happen, nor their landscape. I open my channels, so to speak, and tune in, which makes it easier for them to dial down and deliver their intentions and messages, through, as they have previously described, “the language of love”.
Through trial and error, I have also learned the effortlessness of stepping aside and allowing their voices of love to be expressed. As long as I remain unfiltered and open, our connection flows. They have taught me the value of being present and simply listening – how not to have great expectations of what I ‘should feel like’ or what I ‘think I will experience’. In other words, I have been schooled to let go of preconceived notions and release all possible skepticisms.
Most of all I am continually being taught the value and power of connection, forgiveness and reconciliation. The spirits want to be heard, they need to share and to be given opportunities to be accepted, forgiven and loved. Some spirit entities simply want to commune, get together, reminisce and relax with their loved ones.
They have taught me that they do live on and as a matter of fact, yes – a matter of fact – they don’t die, they simply change form. The greatest lesson I have learned and continue to share and teach is the power of love. Love, like the spirits of our dearly departed, our ancestors, never dies. It is omnipresent, ever available and limitless.
We all have the ability to connect and communicate and in doing so, we teach our ‘departed’ loved ones how to remain close. They continue to teach us how to be open and receptive to a ‘visit’ at any time. ‘Who’s teaching whom?’ is the question.
