Oh Great Dalai Lama, I wonder if you would please entertain this thought…
Success is defined as an achievement of intention or the achievement of something planned or attempted; something that turns out well.
What if all of our peacemakers intended deeper and richer planetary peace, healers intended a healing of all ills of the planet and its inhabitants, the restorers intended to restore harmony, peace, beauty and balance to the planet, the storytellers were even more prolific and the stories they shared with the listeners of the planet were replete with hope, promise possibility, miracles and joy, and love, ahh, love – our greatest gift, was pervasive, plentiful and flowed effortlessly and genuinely between all God’s creatures great and small?
I would consider that to be a monumental achievement, thereby stating the peacemakers, healers, restorers, storytellers and lovers of all kind were highly successful intenders.
I do agree the planet desperately needs more of that.
But, dear Dalai Lama, I respectfully disagree otherwise.
I also believe the planet does indeed need more successful people and I thank you for being open to the possibility.
